Five colleagues, each with years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, were united by a common dream—to build something of their own. Something meaningful. Fuelled by a deep understanding of healthcare and a desire to make a lasting impact, they took the first step toward creating Anthus Pharmaceuticals.
On December 23, 1999, that vision took shape with the incorporation of Anthus Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. As the world stepped into a new millennium, so did Anthus—starting humbly with just 13 people and 13 products.
What set Anthus apart from the start was not its size, but its spirit. Bold marketing strategies and a passionate team laid the foundation for steady growth and a trusted presence across India’s healthcare sector.
The name ‘Anthus’, inspired by the Greek word ‘anthoose’ meaning flower, symbolizes life, growth, and healing. True to its name, Anthus continues to blossom—rooted in quality, compassion, and innovation.
